Not sure it is Ley in the car. (look further) But he came to give the car away, as a birthday present for A.H., the purple man in your picture. :)
I have the the picture with the subscript, and correct me if I'm wrong, it says :
Reichsorganisationleiter Dr. Ley sche....(nkt?) dem Führer für seinem Geburtstag einem Volkswagen.
Im Wagen sitzt Obengruppenfüher (Scheuer?), der Chefadjutant des Führers.
So this is again not Ley's car. It seems there are no pictures available.

| Marcus, will it be publicised when the restoration is complete? Having seen Lenno driving Nr.2 and the completion for Nr.6 I would imagine that once the restoration of the Cabrio is complete, it too will be publicised? |
