| 1995 Golf man trans 2.0L 8V Sport. SYMPTOMS: at first when fuel was around 1/4 tank it would stutter and surge like it was out of gas or missing durring take off and after steady speed for a good distance. No codes found at that time. Now it stuttered with fuel at 1/2 tank the other day. It also seemed to happen worse with the a/c on. So, I scanned it again and found this code: 00513- ENGINE SPEED SENSOR-G28-SIGNAL MALFUNCTION. This was found using a Geniscan GS200 Audi?VW code reader. Anyone seen this code? Is this the sensor on the trans at the flywheel going bad? Would this cause my stuttering problem? |

| Ok. So forget the code. If the car is off and ignition is on this code always appears. Any suggestions on the symptoms though? |

| check your fuel filter, mine was all plugged up and i had all the same symptoms |
