The results for the March Navy Advancement Exam are out now, and I just found out this morning I've been promoted to E-6! :D :D :D

E-6 is a DoD paygrade to determine pay and entitlements.
All branches have an E-6.
For example an E-6 in the Navy and an E-6 in the Air Force receive the same base pay.
Pay grade "title" differs by branch of service however.
Navy E-6 = Petty Officer First Class (PO1)
Army E-6 = Staff Sergeant (SSG)
Air Force E-6 = Technical Sergeant (TSgt)
Marine Corps E-6 = Staff Sergeant (SSgt) |

Yeah, those needle guns freaking SUCK! I don't have to use them because I'm not a boat chuck, but they do keep me awake because you can hear them pretty much everywhere when they're being used. :evil: |
