Every year, our VW club participates in a local parade. I know several people who cannot handle the whole "clown thing" and am wondering if this is just a Nor Cal phenomenon...or is it more like the little kids who cry when they have to sit on Santa's lap? (please don't post all of the Santa/kids crying pics...seen 'em).
Us at the Mother Lode Roundup Parade 2 years ago...
I had to make fun of the creepy situation this year, and got a pic with some of these guys...

| My wife is deathly afraid of clowns... One popped on the tv once and I somehow ended up in pain. In her little freak out and waving arms I got clocked in the junk. NOT FUN. |

I hate puppets. Like old fashioned marionettes, not cute little stuffed animal ones.
And most dolls.
Cant stand that shit.
How is this not creepy:

When I was growing up we would go to my aunts house for the holidays and we had to sleep in the "doll" room. It was full of these demonic creatures all staring at you waiting for you to close your eyes to steal your soul...

Ventriloquist dummies have freaked me out since I saw that Twilight Zone episode where the damn thing was alive and killing people. I was about 6 years old.
Then when I was 8, my dad made one for me as a gift. I hid it on a high shelf in my bedroom and lay awake many nights as a kid waiting for that fucker to swoop down at me. |
