My 99' (2.0) gti never had problems all these years but in last couple of weeks starting has been intermitent. Now it wont start at all!
we put new battery then problem went away for a few days,(it ran) now no lights on the instrument panel but dome lights & power door lock works fine. Battery is fully charged.
the starter seem fine, check the small fuse they all looks ok.
Anyone had this trouble b4? i could use some help. I refuse to take it to the shop & i cant afford them anyway.

| So you are saying it doesn't turn over and there are no idiot lights coming on when key is turned on? Maybe ignition switch? Any juice to the starter? |

theres juice in the starter,brand new battery, no idiot lights, wont turn over as if theres no battery.
what is the best way to check the ign. switch? |
