Just wanted to show off my wheels, I'm going to add a chrome trim ring to set them off. These are printed with a carbon fiber print. What do ya think?

Carbon fiber tape is rampant on German-look cars? Thank god I'm not a part of that "scene" then. |

Uh, ok.... mine aren't taped... granted they are not real carbon fiber, but it's not tape. It's a vinyl film with the ink print on it. You float it on water and spray an activator on it to dissolve the vinyl backing then push the parts through it. 10000 times better than tape. Here's a link to our web site with a picture of the machine.

isnt there also a way to get this look by painting it black then stetching a "netting" over it and painting it silver? Anyone else heard of this method?
by the way nice looking rims cant wait to see them with chrome trim ring or maybe even a red pinstripe around the lip. How long did that process take you per wheel? |

Thanks. Just the printing process itself takes about 3 minutes, but there's a 10 minute wash cycle after that. Including the base color coat, curing, printing, washing, clear coat and curing again it takes about 2 hours per part. |
