I'm dropping my car off next week at the local body shop to replace my floor pans and fix a little cancer spot on the driver side near the running boards. While he is fixing these items there will be some painting involved.
If you haven't seen my threads before then you may not be aware but my car was originally green. It was repainted 2-owners ago. It is a 1970 standard.
Although my body shop is going to have someone come out who can somehow look at the color and "match" it that way... he also wanted to know what the paint code "may actually be" -- so he can find out which one matches better.
Again, its resprayed a bright red of some sort... may or may not be the 1970 OE color... but if you're a Type 1 expert and can give me some color input... let me know the paint code / name you THINK my car is and that may help me immensly. Thanks! |
