I have 3 questions.

1. Trying to figure out how to get the wires that go into the plastic pieces that plug into one another to come out. What I am trying to do is to take them out so I can slip them through the boots that they go through on the rear trunk lid and one the quarter panel ( the 90 degree elbow shaped ones) and so I need to take the plastic pieces off the end but not sure how the wires that plug into them come out? On the 914 they usually had a prong that you would push in and pull the wire out and I have tried that method but does not seem to work here?

2. The other thing is I have a 96 Jetta and up until about 2 months ago, now if I leave it sit out and is raining, there is water that drips on the passenger floor board. It appears to be coming from the area that would be about straight above where the passenger would ordinarily have his feet placed. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem like this? Otherwise I suppose I will have to do the garden hose method to try and find out where it is getting in at.

3. Does anyone know how the black phillips head screws come out on the left hand and right hand pieces that lay directly under where the wipers park at to get down into the cowl area? Any suggestions?
