| Solvang is the planned first show. I'm not going to be able to make the classic with the split for a variety of reasons. You'll also notice there are a few things left to do on the car (like no windshield wipers, and still looking for NOS german air for the tires) |

Excellent video. I have watched it at least 5 or 6 times now. By any chance, can you post a version that just has the audio from the video recorder, without music. Not taking anything from your production at all - I thouroughly enjoyed the finished product with the music. But, it would be cool to hear the engine and tranny sounds without any other noises as well.
Also - when viewing the video, I found this gem on the list of similar YouTube choices. My apologies if this has been posted before, but it is worth seeing again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXSIaioyJLM&feature=related |

oldsplitvw wrote: Thanks guys. With everything involved in the resto, I can say that I am 100% happy with the finished product. Especially since this is a car that gets driven to local shows/shopping/etc, not a trailer queen that drives 100 feet/year. I just can't decide whether I want to add glove box doors or not.
That, and whether or not to slam it on earlies. 8)
As long as your happy with your car thats all that matters, i just got my 52 zwitter back rolling and the guys at the shop tell me to throw a later gearbox in it and run a bigger motor, i just keep telling them its all part of having a proper vintage VW.
Also good for you for driving it and not keeping it in the garage. respect!
I have dropped mine but thats the look i wanted |
