I guess I'll post this link here too.

I started working on my Kommanderwagon type-82e replica the past weekend.

I used the driveaxles, RGB's and spool from a Barndoor bus and installed it into the stock -51 beetle crashbox transmission. Everything was pure Bolt-on. :D

I dig reduction boxes. Back in the day, people sought the Barndoor era reduction boxes for their Baja Bugs because they were so easy to install.

I've never seen a kommanderwagon T-82e, was it sold in the states?
