Might it be worth to test redline MTL-gear box oil for split to reduce noise + better shift handling?

I used that for many years in my watercooled VWs. Its very good.

I might try it in my split to see if I can shave a couple minutes off my 1/4 mile times at the drag strip when ripping through those (non synchro) gears.... :wink:

Those splits are torquey. I always have trouble keeping the front from coming up on launch! 8)

I used this in my other vehicle a 2003 car and it made a drastic differance...shifts like butter now I would say give it a shot. but then again isn't it synthetic?

I have some Swepco 201 I'm gonna try in my late model trans. Porsche guys swear by it.

the redline stuff is the shiz.
ive always run the MT90 in my bus boxes and reductions. smoothness FTMFW!
