After years if deliberation, just picked this up at he weekend. It's a 1978 Devon Sundowner 1.6. Bodywork, running gear and chassis restored to a very high standard - needs a bit of work on the interior to get it the way we want it, but it's more than useable the way it is.
Overall, we're utterly delighted with it.
Of course, I wore a special outfit:

Picked up the bus in Hampshire, drove it home to east London. Nice local knowledge, my friend. ('Course, AA is a Hampshire plate, but you knew that.) |
