since i have got an enquiry about reproducing the "Huls" split and early oval recliners , and having in mind that the moldings and tooling for manufacturing these will cost a lot of money , i would like to know how many split and oval users would be interested to own one of these kits ....
you can send me a pm if interested .
thank you !!

Same here. Someone in Germany cast them recently, I saw a set of repros for sale here a few months ago. They looked great.
I'm interested. |

| Do you have any pics? My oval has these chromed bars on each side of the front seats that allow the seats to recline and I'v been wondering what they are since they're not factory. |

I've had that bookmarked for some time. Down the page a bit, someone mentions the recliners made in Cleveland, OH. I found that a while ago as a friend's dad worked for that very same company.
There's a couple pictures in that thread of the various Huls recliners. |

Hello, Mr Song :D I think they are in excellent condition, whereas often (including mine) the teeth are worn and bakelite knobs chipped, also, the seats are in exceptionally nice original condition and I think he has the whole interior.
Again, to repro, I would assume 'plastic' knobs.. :? ? |
