My granpa's 71 split window super beetle came from the factory with a porsche engine, so dont be talking down on those. I think it's a "california edition", you know, the one with the chrome strip on the hood. |

The Super Beetle had a motor all its own.
But I know a guy that put a Ghia motor in a bug. It would beat Mustangs. |
