If you really want to make a scary hide and seek kids display, have them facing away from the car to see what the other side of them looks like (make a face of unspeakable horror... mummified face with eyes and mouth stitched up with wire or something along those lines). If you don't like that one then maybe you could put electric motors inside so that when people get close it jumps up at them or suddenly spins around. I'll bet they wouldn't be expecting that!

Looks like the stuffed kids are now being replaced by fake peeing dogs. Just saw my first ones at a car show this weekend. Ugh.

you could always buy one of those stupid kids pre-made and just cut a hole where it's head would be and glue in one of those headhunter's shrunken head things from the novelty store. Then add a bunch of teeth from an old cow skull. :-&
I used to be able to buy those hands and feet from the toy store that only sold stuff all the other toy stores couldn't sell and had to get rid of. Now it's no more.
