| What is the correct lugnut to use on the og empi 5 spoke? This is the style that have a ball seat. I put in lugnuts from bugpack and the outside of the nut hits the rim. Any ideas or am i missing washers? |

| These are the real two peice rims, they do not take the insert, I have one of those rims too. |

All the 2 piece 5 spokes I removed from car's I bought alway's had the stock VW lugnuts if they were the ball seated ones. |

| I don't know about the O.G. Empis, but my car with the El Cheapo Re-pop Empi 8 spokes uses ball seat 14mm X 1.5 with a 24mm shank lugbolts. I just went through this hassle when my local shop sold me the Empi conical lugnut and stud kit, which is not correct. And as usual, new Empi quality... |

| I just found out that empi offers a washer with the ball seat and uses a concial nut. |

sprint star & early 5 spoke nos lugnuts on right, on left late 5 spoke and brm hardware
