| I liked him too. He had a "real" quality about him. |

| Yeah, I liked how he could present both sides on an issue and be equally convincing. |

Damn, He was the only political news guy I liked. We was funny as hell on Leno a few months back, yet kept it real when Jay asked him questions.
I'd be willing to donate a casket if anyone cares. |

He was well liked and well respected by all.
The measure of a man is his good name and his was golden. |

| I have said for years that what stood out most to me about Tim was that he really seemed to love his job. How many political news people do you know that you look forward to watching? You can tell how much he was loved and respected by all the coverage he has and will be getting this weekend. Heck, even here on a VW website! He will me missed. RIP Tim. |

Russert was the best because it wasn't all about HIM. He was tough as a bulldog on guests from both sides of the aisle but he let them finish their answers. So many of these pundits are way more into themselves and the sound of their own voice that they either don't want to/don't care/don't have the patience to listen to what the other guy has to say.
My Sunday mornings will be more empty without him - thank God for Bob Schieffer. |
