Well, its that time of year.
Time to roll out your stock height Split Window buses for 40 miles or so of offroad adventure in the Pine Barrens of South Jersey.
This year we are exclusively Split Window, pre-68 buses, with one exception.
Allentown Nick's purple baywindow bus.
He's earned it.
Otherwise,
August 16th, Saturday, Tabernacle, NJ.
Email me for directions to my place.
We roll at 10:00am sharp! Earlier than last year.
It will give us time to do the new route.
Please get to my place by 9:00 so we can wrangle the buses into order.
Camping space available on Friday and Saturday night.
Pulled Pork BBQ to follow the shenanigans.
Who's in?

I've been practicing my left hand turn from the right hand jug handle all winter in anticipation of this.

Why limit yourself to one? The beauty of being a passenger is that you get to ride in "all" the busses; switching between them at each stop. |

And I've set up a kiddie pool full of water to store my spare engines in ever since. |

| i'm really hoping to make it, sounds like too much fun to miss... my schedule is still a little up in the air right now but it's looking promising... look for me I'll be the guy looking to hitch a ride in someones bus, as my ride that i'm taking up there won't make it through the Pine Barrens!! |

I plan on going down, maybe solo this year
stanagon isn't going so I already told Jim P. he has to get a bus ready or he can't ride with me ( and I offered to help him do it ) anyone willing to prod him a bit? |

Good luck with that. I'll take odds on the "He doesn't make it in his own bus" side of the bet. Prove me wrong, Jimmy. |

| I'm in, but I'm looking to ride shotgun (unless someone wants to loan me a bus), my only VW is again a '73 Super. I don't think my son Matt will make it, it seems that birth of his first child takes precedence. |
