I think it's been mentioned that the early cars don't have the (correct) Sliding roof # on the body tag up front.

The VIN plate does not tell you if your car is a sunroof or hardtop during oval years.
Take a pic from the underside at the front corners. Is there a sheet bracket at each corner of the sunroof tray to the windshield header? |
