You think they could have polished the ribs.
I wonder what a real one would go for?
Anyone know which canister it takes? |

How do the "Beehive" coolers compare to the Frams?

| the Beehive Filcoolator is much "cooler" with the fins, not as much cooling going on with a Fram |

The Fram doesn't make claims to be a cooler, it's simply a filter. Having said that you put more oil through the engine it will have a cooling effect.
My only reservation about the Beehive Cooler and the cooling spirals is that they will lower oil temperature but the heat extracted from both is channelled back through the fanhousing leading to higher head temperatures.
A sump extension will cool the oil without recirculating the extracted head back into the engine. |
