Hi has anyone come across this on full lock my front tyres rub on the body????????. Stock 53 Oval.

| Your not alone Sam. Even at stock hieghth, and steering wheel cranked hard in either direction my wheels have a faint rubbing noise. I have thought of taking my air 90% angle motor and trimming the excess off the body. Just haven't had a chnace yet to do it. Eric |

| what size are your tires? If you got a stock width beam with 165's it shouldn't rub at all unless its been lowered or the springs have sagged over time. |

| all of my stock height cars rub with bias plys or radials, this is why on the later cars they added adjustable steering stops, every king pin front end I see has the grub screw lock nuts worn down on the trailing arms from the inside of the tires rubbing, there may be the occasional car which doesnt rub due to some extremely fortunate alignment measurements but virtually all tires rub on kingpin front ends |
