| I met an OLD guy in his 90s in NW PA once that claimed to have brought a '47 VW he chopped into a convertable back to the US in the Early '50s, he was an engineer and a machinist and he told me that he cast his own heads back in the '50s, he didnt have anything around anymore but he talked about it like it was no big deal, he just had the equipment and the time to do whatever he wanted and he was a cheap old German guy back before there were any dealerships and he made most of his own parts, may be some of his handywork? |

| I picked these up from down under. What little I have been told is that there was an aftermarket company in Australia that was making these way back when. I was hoping someone had more specifics. They also have 35mm intakes installed. I can not tell how much porting has been done but it looks like a little. Be interesting to know how well they flowed. |
