| Nice work, love to see those resto pics. Was there areaso n why the body was not removed from the chassis though? All of that patching and body work done with the body on the chassis?? |

Keep us posted. Do you have any other pre resto pictures of the dash and interior? |

Hi yes there is a reason that the body is not removed from the chassis.
I bought the car in January and will drive it this summer and won't standing there for another 5 years like a lot of project cars.
I know for a perfect restoration the body schould be removed.
The chassis is in very good shape
I still have another car to restore and this one will be a body off.
And my money machine is broken! :lol: :lol: |

I think I've posted them in the forum pre 1953 on the pre67vw forum.
The speedo was from a Porsche I think who was in the car but he stored the original one, I was happy with that. :D
The interior is original but a little used but will stay like that, only the carpet on the heatherchannels will be replaced. |
