Nice work, love to see those resto pics. Was there areaso n why the body was not removed from the chassis though? All of that patching and body work done with the body on the chassis??

Awesome! Good to see your going back to stock specs. :)
Keep us posted. Do you have any other pre resto pictures of the dash and interior?

Hi yes there is a reason that the body is not removed from the chassis.
I bought the car in January and will drive it this summer and won't standing there for another 5 years like a lot of project cars.
I know for a perfect restoration the body schould be removed.
The chassis is in very good shape
I still have another car to restore and this one will be a body off.
And my money machine is broken! :lol: :lol:

I think I've posted them in the forum pre 1953 on the pre67vw forum.
The speedo was from a Porsche I think who was in the car but he stored the original one, I was happy with that. :D
The interior is original but a little used but will stay like that, only the carpet on the heatherchannels will be replaced.
