Hi, I have a 2000 jetta and had the waterpump replaced less than 2 months ago. It cost nearly $700. Now I have this awful leak and when I took it in, they are now saying that the pipe between the waterpump and the thermostate housing is leaking. The light came on a week ago and I replaced the fluide and it stayed for a week before I could take her in. Then after taking her in to have it checked, it will only keep fluid for less than 10 min. I cannot drive it. They want another $800-1200 to fix it. i am a single mom and this is my only car. Obviously the last $700 wiped out my savings so any advice.
I would deeply appreciate it! |

| $700 to replace the waterpump? WOW! Sounds like they got the best of you. Then they want to charge another $800-1200 to replace an o-ring or the pipe? Sounds like you need to find a new shop. |
