CB Beam - NIB do I paint it?
Thats the question - should it be painted - it looks pretty poorly painted, shipping paint? |

| yes...I'd scuff it up, prime it and paint it. Mine looked like a spray can at about 5 feet. |

| Yes... the paint on it is to prevent it from rusting while being shipped. It will flake off. |

| With body panels (except for Gerson's latest ones), the packing primer or enamel is shot on over unconditioned metal to save time. For the beam, I would recommend taking it down to bare metal, scuffing it up good, then painting it. I just did a 1963 bus frontend and it looks marvelous! |
