I purchased the Central Pneumatic 20 lb. capacity sandblaster from Harbor Freight. It's missing one piece called a "gasket" - this goes just before the ceramic blasting tip in the nozzle assembly.
Anybody know what it's made of, what shape it is, can I substitute a rubber O-ring, any advice?

| I believe that is just a common rubber faucet washer. Flat on one side and a slight taper on the other. Go to the hardware store and look in the faucet repair section. Take the whole nozzle assy with you to check for size. I had the big 110 lb HF sand blaster and that was what it had..... figure 15-30 cents max. It is a sandblaster, dont over think it. you just need the seal with a hole in the middle. To take it back for something so trivial is a waste of your time. Buy it! And getr Done! |
