Just got a great parcel tray at a good price from Steve. He responded quickly to emails, sent extra pics, and shipped FAST.

Steve bought a decklid piece from me a while back. The payment arrived fast and he notified me when it arrived.

I wish I had a positive report. I wish I had my mirrors. I wish he replied to my emails. I paid the same day I asked about them, paypal, and waited patiently. On his ads it does say that it's not a full time job for him, and that there may be a delay, but I've waited a month and he hasn't taken the time to reply to any of my (2) emails.

So, I am glad to say everything worked out. The mirrors are serviceable truck mirrors and shipped very quickly once I "expressed" my dissatisfaction. I sincerely hope Steve stays in the vw business since this is how some of us get our period-correct parts. He made up for the delay in shipping and more. Thanks!

He has a phone number listed with all of his ads. Have you tried calling him?

today i decided to get my head out of my ass and shipped out those truck mirrors.I could make a bunch of excuses about what my problem is but id rather just say sorry for the delay and they are on the way.thanks again for the purchase.

bought a carb for my T34 from Steve. packed well, shipped pretty quickly and a real bargain at that.

I had good luck with communications - wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

BAD SELLER!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM!

Steve "The Reaper" is a very bad unprofessional non-communicating seller.

He answered my first email with his paypal account. To witch I credited immediately $50.00 for 4 carbs shipped. His paypal account accepted my payment. That was Saturday.

With no replies from Steve by Tuesday I grew concerned and called his phone. He explained he was a flake and could not find all the carbs. He assured me he would look some more and if he did not find them he would credit my money back.

On Thursday I sent Steve another email demanding my money, or my carbs. I also asked for him to contact me. No reply!

Today is Friday still no contact from Steve at all!

Steve has logged in everyday this week here on the SAMBA. Is it that much harder to send me an email or call? Need to get your priorities straight!

He has also not removed his ad with the 4 carbs that I have payed for.

All of these bad actions combined lead me to believe Steve is hustling me.

Let me get this straight...

You paid him on Saturday, talked to him midweek and he explained he was looking for the carbs, and by Friday you are calling him a thief?

That seems a bit extreme.

Imagine you gave someone money for parts and did not get any reply?

Steve still has not contacted me or credited my paypal account.

Some people aren't camped out on their PCs looking at email EVERY day. I sometimes am away for a day or two at a time.

He obviously was reachable by phone. Perhaps you could have called him again.

Cut him some slack. Outing him for a thief after only a few days?? Come on...
