Looks like a body only. $10k seems little steep to me for a zwitter body. Maybe if it is 100% rust free and all fenders and lids and doors are correct, then maybe you get close to that.

The rear apron looks a little munged up in the pic??

A real zwitter chaissis, correct pans, engine, drivetrain etc will cost you $10-$20K If you can find them. Not to say you couldn't plop it on an oval-esque pan with a 36 and have fun with it....

I found a guy with a 51 chassis with vin plates and a title for 1500.00.

Needs pans, motor, trans and a overhaul though.

Thought of offering 7000.00 for the body since he already dropped it from 15K and then buy the pan and get to work. Only problems is the differences in the body from 51 to 53.

10 grand and you don't get any runing gear is pretty steep. I didn't see door pannels or carpet in the picture, and it will certainly need some body work Does it include the bumpers and heart lights? I'd say 10k maybe if it was a running, driving car.

I bought my 53 Zwitter with semaphores for $2,900 Canadian.

Rust free with matching pan. It was missing the drivetrain, engine and interior though, and the fenders were not original.

$10,000 seems a little too ambitious a price I think.

I bought my 52 dual glove box split for around $10,000. It wasn't on the OG pan or have the OG engine, but I could pull the choke, push the start button and be down the road in 30 seconds. Plus it had some nice accessories. $10,000 for a zwitter shell IMO is too much. Maybe half that. There was a 51 or 52 split dual glove box shell at the Manassas Bug-Out a year or two ago for $4000, and it had windows, doors, fenders, deck lid, etc...

Everything is worth what you pay for it. However, in the words of my cars PO, "you have to pay to play." I wish someone would have told me the reality of that statement before I got involved with splits, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Let's not forget that it is a 3 fold rag top and the price is obo. It would look pretty damn cool thrown on a pan and dropped with some alloys 8)

I just spoke with the owner and found out it does not have seat either

Get the price down, but see if you can't snap that up! ( It is a three-fold) 8)
