| Not a boy now!Only at heart.Immature surely.I've dreamed of a westy since my 19th birthday. Finally got one barely 6 months after my 42nd.That was last september. Now,because of the economy,BUSH,and the loss of my job,she (matilda) just sits.I call her my "American Dreamboat".Have yet to go camping. She still needs work.I was able to purchase a new poptop canvas (not installed),a bra (to cover up her less than perfect nose),and a few other things but it seems America does not give a shit whether my dream comes true or not.I'm tired and seem much older than my years.I'm college educated, hard working, loyal,American, and now completely vulnerable economically.Thinking about this alot here in eugene oregon here today and just needed an outlet i guess.I hate being disappointed in myself or my Country but i am today! |

Post a bunch of pics, I bet folks here can find you a bunch of no cost tasks you can do all afternoon to get you out of your funkage, and closer to getting on the road. Otherwise, clean her out, get busy, even WHEN you HAVE money, you'll eventually have to do that stuff anyway.
After you work all day on her, take the hibachi out to the driveway and grill up a couple of hot dogs, bring a couple of beers, put up some party lights. If somebody doesn't come by and offer to share a sixer with you, I'd be surprised. Later, get yourself a blanket and go sleep out there tonite, call it camping. Some people would drive all day just to GET to Eugene...
PS: America does not give a shit. Why do you care? |
