So I have found a 51 Split OG RHD, 3 Fold rag and crotch coolers!!
The Good
99% of the parts are there and original to the car. Pans are solid and not patched...Missing fenders only...
The Bad
Missing fenders and only a short block motor (but original to the car)
The car is absolutely solid with only minor metal work needed to fix a small hole.
Now the best question...Is 12k too much? |

So hereis the story
The pan is an original RHD, but the body in a LHD with all the parts needed to convert it to RHD. There also appears to be patch repairs on the car near the fenders and wheel wells on the drivers side.
Other than that, it looks really good and nothingthat could not be fixed correctly.
THoughts? |

| its a RHD pan, but a later one for sure, so at best you will be making a fake RHD Split. the value would be changed quite a bit if you do this conversion, but on the other hand, its your car and if it makes you happy, thats all that matters. |

Working on some pictures of the car.
It is a 51 pan I believe...but will have to check the numbers
I think the car is over priced for a LHD even if I can convert it to RHD, but need your thoughts.

| The time has come for pics. You say you found a '51 ragtop crotch cooler car that is totally sound-no rust, smashes, etc. Complete except for fenders. Now all of a sudden you don't think it's worth 12k? Pass the deal over to me. If it's bona-fide I'll take it today. Puhleeese. |

ZERO bondo, but the car does have patches on it in the following
Left front fender well
incorrect front apron
front firewall patches
Nothing big at all,but I will need some work
