| got my engine running after sitting for 2 years. sounds good and starts right away but wont stay running unless i give it gas. timing is on point. carburation maybe? |

| Check your idle jet. It may be clogged. |

| adjust your valves and check ur plugs. yes idle jet might be clogged too. |

hey guys i got the same problem... this was suggested to me before as well. now, i looked at a few diagrams of a 34-pict carb but i can't find the idle jet?
where is it in the carburetor? (i got a bocar unit, if that makes a difference) |
