| My own mother doesn't even remember. You'd think that the happiest day in her life would be ingrained permanently in her brain. It was either my grandma's brand-new Ford Cortina (preferably) or my dad's '67 Ford work truck. |

I knew my mom drove herself to the hospital to have me with my grandmother riding shotgun. It was in her 1977 Toyota Celica coupe. She had to drive because my grandmother can't drive a stick.
So I asked her what I came home in. She said a grey Reliant K, YUK! My grandfather sold used cars on the side and it was one he was flipping. I know in 1985 the K car was probably pretty new, but still, a K car  |

| '65 Impala SS. God, I wish my dad still had that car. If it's still around, it's probably a rotting shell in a Michigan junkyard. |

This is what I road home in. It was also the last great car my Dad ever had. With me being #3 Mom made him sell it and buy a family car 1954 4 door Chevy. Its a 1947 New Yorker convertible. Damn I wish I had it. 8)

| Damn now I know why I like vws so much. I called up my dad and asked he laughed and wondered why I was asking. So I told him. My 1st car to ride in was a 73 orange superbettle. I was born in 74 so it was pretty new. |

Adam, that's exactly what my son rolls these days...same year, too!
I think my first ride was in my dad's 1957 Chevy Bel Air. I believe that's the only car my folks had at the time.
My oldest son came home from the hospital in my bug, and my b/f's oldest also came home from the hospital in a bug. |

Maybe it wasn't her happiest day???
I don't know either. The first car I remember is a gold/tan Ford Maverick. |
