I have what I'll call three "tri-daily" drivers :) I drive the 79 all year long which used to be about a 60 mile per day commute but with the nice weather I drive one of three VW's.
The notch gets the most action now but then again I have to pop in the camper and tool around in that too.
Either way I've only got air cooled power to get me around so I'm always daily driving one of them. |

| <<<<<<<My daily driver. However, I do have another car but drive it rarely these days. Drive 45 miles round trip to work and back plus errands and my daughters basketball games several times a week. |

| glad to hear so many busses are getting used... forgot to add the stipulation about everyday and year round but most people covered it anyway. glad to hear I'm not the only one crazy enough to freeze all winter. I only had to take my bus out once in the snow so far but it kicked ass when I did way better than my girlfriends front wheel drive dodge caravan handles in the snow. I just picked up a gas heater so hopefully I can get that up and running before next season |

| Our 3 VWs are dailys. My wife drives her 75 bus everyday and I usually swap between my bug and 71 bus every couple of weeks. I can't imagine not driving one of them each day and when one goes down for something I try to get it back on the road as soon as possible. |

| I split my driving between my '70 Westy & Honda Helix. Helix is down right now and honestly I'm in no hurry to fix it as driving the bus is a joy. Been driving the Bus daily since buying/fixing it last Valentines Day. I got a Lifted S10 I use in the Winter. |

My 73 is my daily. Drive it everywhere, all the time. My commute is short, but enjoyable. My wife gets the AC. :) |

| Daily driver since I found her in February 01, I also lived in her for the first four years. My work commute is about 30 miles one way. Myself, wife, four kids and dog fit comfortably. 66 beetle is my backup. |
