I have this Webasto wind visor. Someone wants to know if it would fit his split ragtop. I have only held it in place in a '60 ragtop, in which it looked as it would fit:

The bubble fits exactly over the handle.

Carsten Reeder had a lightly different Webasto in his '53 ragtop, but had the same measurements:

28 inches long and 9 inches wide.
70cm long and 22cm wide

So my question is: Would my Webasto fit in a split ragtop? Can anyone please confirm/deny this?
(Or is the handle maybe in a slightly different position?)

Don´t you know a split anywhere close to you to test it?
And by the way, my oval is a 53.

Ok sorry, 53 then. My mistake.

Unfortunately I don't have a split ragtop nearby, I'm not that lucky. :wink:
So I hope thesamba will come to the resque once again and help us out!

I've heard of guys using 2 fold mechanisms in 3 fold cars, so yes the widths are the same. Close enough for your visor that doesn't touch the sunroof.
