Hey guys on thursday I got a free 70 bug from a guy in hunington beach. He is moving and can't take it with him. He first posted the add in craigslist (free Section) at 2:47am I called him at 3:00am and he said come and get it. i told him i would pick it up at 08:00am because i was at work and i still needed to rent a tow dolly from uhaual. He removed the ad twenty minutes later because so many people were calling him. luckily i was the first  now for the question How can I get the trunk open? the switch inside the glove box is broken and i dont want to break it open either
It came with a working Trans and a 1600 single port engine, Pink and everything |

go on rub it in
factory sunroof and all
best way to get into the hood with a broken cable is the cut the hood handle in half and undo either piece by spinning it
never tried it but thats the way its done according to lots of ppl |

Might can access it with a pole and a cable looped on the end.
Go through the glove box, and snag the release and pull it.
I think you can access the trunk from underneath if the spare tire isn't in the way. Not a standard guy so it's only what I've read. |

| Worst case is that you cut the handle into pieces and unscrew the upper and lower portion. That is directly out of the Bentley repair manual. |
