From that picture it's got the wrong taillights, steering wheel is from a 56-57 oval and the end play is off .008. I'm no expert but that's all I can see.

IF you upgrade to the better version of google earth, can you see stuff from today. instead of 5 year old pictures? Thats all i want. to be able to see current. id love if it was live, now. but i dont have my hopes up. at least up to date pics.

Download virtual earth. It seems to be way more current than google maps.

The car is parked outside at a VW shop in a busy neighborhood. The owner has pushed it out in the morning and back in at night for the past 20 years. If this sounds odd, it is. That fact that it sits out in public every day makes it fair game for discussion here.
Many people have attempted to buy it, but to my knowledge it's never been "officially" for sale. And having attempted to buy one of the owner's other cars that supposedly was for sale, I can understand why. |
