I did not buy mine from brothers but they are all coming from the same place, and i dont think that they carry a 1 1/2. If you want you can just buy mine and save a few dollars but its for big power. T4 Flange. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=623815
good luck

Brothers is one of the best at customer service and communication. You will be pleased to buy anything from them because they will comunicate with you to let you know what is happening. I'm pretty sure this is the same header that others are also selling, but you can't beat service like Brothers.

I have 14 gauge T3, 1 1/2" drag race, off road header in stock (raw, can coat polished or black ceramic)! And you do not want 1 5/8" on anything under 2.3L unless it’s going to be a REAL... high rpm use!!!

Who makes a quality 1 3/8"(1.5) under the lid street sedan header? I currently have the 1 5/8" CB hideaway that is too large for my T3'd 1904cc.
I saw DRD's 1.5" sedan header was wondering who has one and how they like it?
Anyone? |

does the 1/16 really make that much of a difference?i know its that much more space to fill in and the turbo may lag a bit but it kind of opens up option for later down the road for me.any suggestions? |

| 1 ½” can be used on 2387cc combos and will help for fast spool up on small combos, I know that most of the shop still only offer the 1 5/8” 16gauge but that’s a big opening for most combos and it’s all about air speed and volume making its way to that turbo! We make our headers in 14gauge for the strength, a turbo + carb can be close to 30lbs and if anyone has had the old off road turbo headers they tend to crack as most back then did not know about the abuse all that heat and weight can cause. So we make all of our headers a little thicker!!! :D |

| do you think it will work ok for a 1600/1915(future) set up?will it be a huge difference compared to the 1 1/2?i could totally see what you mean by weight with the turbo/carb/intake bolted together then bouncing around in the car.i was going to support it with an adjustable bar to the case.thanks for your help. |

my sicilian mafia connections say that everyone gets thier "over the top" style headers from the same company, in orders of 20 at a time.
but its a secret. shhhhh! |

| All of us do but I still have control over how my order is made! There’s a price difference between 14 and 16 gauges so some shops jump at the chance to make more money on the 16 gauge units. Not naming any one here just saying we have that option also. We also don’t use the ceramic coating that comes with the headers that most other shops do (at least the ones that order the headers pre-made, coated and all boxed up). All of our headers go to a different shop for the coatings and we get them coated inside and out. We also offer Polished Chromex, Black Velvet, Flat Sliver and Flat Bronze color coatings. If you need we can custom make an adjustable wider header for the larger combos. :D |
