| I am thinking about taking the whole body off to replace the floor pans. I need to know what other things i should do while i am at it like replacing the body gaskets. Just to save me time not have to go back again. |

| personally, i would(and, in fact, did) do the pans with the body on to ensure bolt hole alignment. i used klokkerholm pan halves. they were easy to handle in the car. i don't know how hard full pans would be |

It much easier to do the pans right with the body on
But taking the body off after replacing pans has many advantages
I would do all the brakeline and suspention work that you can with the body off
Also, coat the chasis with a good paint. I suggest Chassis Saver by Magnet Paints. Its cheaper than most others and requires minimal preparation and materials (the paint and a can of reducer) no weird rust converters or anything |

| What i am doing is to get rid of all the rust issue i could be discovering so later on i wont have to worry about rust for many years. |
