my vert has aluminum side door frames but the front vent frame and rear quarter are steel. Whats the deal can anyone explane or is this another production date thing?

| I've never heard of that. I know split verts have aluminum window frames, no vent windows. Mine are all chrome plated steel, maybe your side wind frame was fabricated in aluminum to replace a missing one at some time? :?: |

| Those are correct for a "zwitter" vert. Check your VIN, it should have a manufacture date between Oct 1952-Mar 1953 |
