I've got a KG I bought sight unseen off ebay a while back. Got a fair price I think, can't complain. Anyways the guy tells me the pan had been fiberglassed for repair. I figured it wouldn't be a problem, cut out both pan halves and replace them.
Little did I know when he said fiberglassed, he meant FIBERGLASSED! and fiberglassed to the body.
So my question is to those that have done media blasting, do you think I could have it blasted as is? I really don't want to sand off all that fiberglass and was planning to have only the body blasted. Do I have to remove the motor to have it blasted? Tranny?, brakes?, fittings?, how much has to be removed to have it blasted? |

| The best thing to do would be to strip everything off the car, especially pull the motor/trans, all your brakes. You don't want any of that to get ruined from the blasting. Post some pics after you get it done!! :) |
