I'm a huge fan of 70's Cal-Look. When I saw this one in July 08 Volks World, I instantly became a fan of the square. A 3.0 in a Type 3, THAT ROCKS!! The panel squares are so cool too! If your an old school Cal-Look fan, chime in on this perfect Type 3....

Maybe he refrigerates it or something.
I think somebody should stretch a square one whole window and make a hearse. You could make swanky drapes out of og plaid bus curtain material. That would totally kick ass. It'd be like if Bobby Brady had a funeral home. |

That's a Rednek Approved enhanced cooling system. Heat dissipates faster that way. All that pesky tin just holds the heat in. Thought you knew! |

| That is a nice T34 for sure! As far as the old school cal look goes, the square is perfect in my eyes. Although i'd have some cooling tin so I could drive more than a few miles... |

| have you ever seen a drag engine? most of the dedicated cars don't run any tin at all. they make passes, go back to the pits and use box fan to blow air over th engine to cool it off, then go race again. with the high amp ignition systems, most are finally coming around to running a nippondenso alternator and no fan to keep the system firing the entire time it is lit off. |

Take a close look at cylinders on that car, there's only a pair (one on each side of the engine case)
With that engine configuration (Type 1) the floor was raised more than a few inches too |

| You have to read the article on that motor. I think it was designed by a guy that worked for Deno Dinosaur racing. The case has a raised deck to accommodate a bigger stroke. 70s racing stuff. If I had the mag in front of me I could tell. Anyway its a cool resto rad rod panel deal. 8) |

I believe those are called "siamese" barrels. The pistons are so big that there wouldn't be enough space left between them to make them individual barrels. Cool stuff! |
