to replace my damaged RGB axle gear I ordered one that seemed to be the correct replacement (21 teeth, small nut)....
to my surprise I got this different part (shorter axle) ...belonging to which vehicle ?
mine is part number 211 501 267A, while the one I got is 211 501 267.
I am supposed to have a 21:15 gear ratio.
the parts manual is a little bit confusing concerning this numbering...

The short one is a barndoor stub axle.
I've got a 1.40 small nut stub axle for sale if you need one. |

Thanks Greg, let me talk to the BD axle stub provider to return it. If they have no replacement I get back to you...

| Greg, I thought that the 1963 one ton RGB has a longer stub axle and wider brake drum. Correct me if I am wrong. |

The '63 1500 stub axle is longer than both of those, and doesn't have 21 teeth. |
