Well I got it out today for a little bit. Still running bad. But it was fun to put around the neighborhood a little.
I just don't know what to do with it. I love this little car, but with a new baby on the way and buying a house I'm afraid it is going to get neglected and sit in my garage, due to lack of funds and time. :( Should I try and sell or hang on to it? |

you'll need to do some soul-searching to figure that out.... I have been where you are at as far as a crossroads and had to really think about what I would do if I sold the car off and then later on searching for a replacement....
I ended up keeping the car and changing some of my priorities... |

I'd hang on to it, and just work on it when you can. If you've noticed around here, some of the projects take a few years to complete, as life has a way of getting in the way. Or like above said, a few years from now, you'll be looking for something to replace it. At least you know what you got, and finding something as good in a few years might be twice as expensive. |

Don't let it be the one that got away.
So many people have sold a car we regretted selling after the fact. |

| Yeah I'll probably hold on to it for now. Just sometimes feel a little guilty having a vehicle, that doesn't have a real use or purpose. Feel a little selfish must be growing up. |

| Keep it. Even if it stays in the garage a couple of years, collecting dust, at least you will still have it. |

If you're feeling unsure, talk it over with your lady. She might surprise you and tell you to keep it.
I was thinking about selling my project a while back because of finances, but my wife told me to hang on to it.
It will just take a little longer to finish. |

| I seriously doubt that it will spoil and have to be put in the garabage can. Personally, I'd keep it to putter on when ever you can. Make it a hobby, when you have a few minutes or hours, do some work on it. Good therapy is hard to come by. Good Luck which ever way you go. |

| Unless you are unable to keep it from rotting away, never let it go. You may never find another and the way prices are going up on these you may never be able to afford another at a later date. Blarneyman, your wife sounds cool. Don't get rid of that Square project you have going, I'm using it as motivation to get the front clip on my '71 Square replaced this summer. |

| I would say keep it too! Ive sold some nice buses to finance my first house a number of moons ago, but looking back, the house was a better investment than the buses (even now!), but it still sadens me I let them get away, and now I could not afford to replace them. Im just thankful I hung on to my first one. While the fastback wouldnt be as hard or costly to replace, unless you absolutly need the money, I would hang on to it, and after you move and get your life back in order after the chaos of moving and setting up the house, you may look at the fasty in a different light.... |
