| I've been out of the loop for about 5 years and I'm just wondering as an estimate, how much has the value of an oval changed over that time? |

| I also have been out of the loop for about 7-8 years now and i cant believe how much prices have gone up especially on parts. I remember buying a beautifuly restored 1956 km speedo off Ruben (Kochs) for like $125.00 and my semiphores from Sean at Vintage for about $175.00 restored for my 1956 ragtop, those were the days. Anybody rember KDF enterprises on San Fernando Road ? |

That was in the 80s, before Tony Moore started Wolfsburg West. Since then, many shops have gone to the way side. Places like Barrett Enterprises, Johnny Speed & Chrome (Buena Park) and Car Custom (Azusa) and now most recently Rimco (Santa Ana) |

| I think prices on splits (especially very original ones and original sunroofs) have gone WAY up. Ovals up a bit, but not nearly as much... |

I walked into KDF Enterprises and bought a bunch of cool stuff back in 1990, got a NOS '54 oil filler cap and tube assembly for $45, I had driven down from North of Fresno to check out some shops and the owner of KDF asked me if I was going to Pomona that weekend, so I say "whats Pomona?" ...
I remember he had a 1956-7 oval shell with no rust sitting outside for $100, it may have even been a sunroof |
