We just received the latest Lego catalog at our home. Much to my surprise, the back cover showed a "classic" Beetle. Wonder if it comes with realistic rusted floor pans?

Cause it's supposed to be pretty big from what I understand. It's not like the little ones that you get at toys r us. |

I thought the same thing, then I saw the finished product was >16" long and was made up of 1600 pieces. THe kit is for age 16+, which I assumes means physical age and not maturity level??? :) |

After buying Legos since they were Legos, I can say a 1600 piece set for 120 bucks is not bad...Especially this one....Its a great change from Legos that mimic the latest movie...(Indiana Jones, Speedracer, Star Wars, etc....)
My 7 yr old can hardly wait...me too... |

16+ means I won't be able to figure it out but my 9 year old will....right after he sets the clock on the DVD player. |

| I'm all over one of these as soon as I can get one. I wish it was a solid color, but what can you do. I do like how they added extra foglights. |

that would be easy to make a solid color..all you need is a huge stash of legos |
