I vote for Wolfsburg. Good luck so far with Bughaus and OEVdub, too.
I've been so disappointed in the the last couple years with the crappy quality of aftermarket parts, it's not even funny. What a waste of time and money.
I just had CB tell me it will cost $14 to send me a $7 box my way, and told me it was "fuel surcharges". I might be dense, but I'm not stupid. Watch the shipping costs, too. |

CB has always been high for shipping. In October I paid $13.28 for valve keepers and a gasket set. They came in a padded envelope. About the same for six jets...
Their shipping is high, but their product is usually quality. |

I'm just going to throw this out there for the heck of it. I know nothing about this place. I only just heard about them from the repair shop my car just came out of (which I will never use again!!!). The site does say that they specialize in VW diesel parts, but it also says they have parts for ALL VWs. They sell new & used.

If it gets here fast, yes, higher shipping might be ok. But a week or more? No, sorry, their shipping is no better than the rest. |

Never said their shipping was better, but their PRODUCTS are better than a lot of what is out there. |

Follow up... $13 to ship six jets, $16 to ship J-tubes and an oil filler. Their shipping has never made sense to me...
But I still use them for some things. Not a place to buy everything... |

I highly recommend:
CB Performance
West Coast Metric
Wolfsburg West
For non-insulated European style electrical terminals I would add the following two parts suppliers to your list:
1. German Supply
2. Source Products, Inc.
If you live in the United States, I would recommend Source Products since their terminals and shipping is about one-half the cost of German Supply.

Look closely - It is the identical terminal manufactured by KS

Because he said he was looking for a good part supplier.
They send a new catalog every two weeks, who do you think pays for that?
I order from Midamerica occasionally. I seems everytime I order, only half my order arrives and the rest is back ordered. They have nice looking catalogs but how expensive is it to send those out like 12 times a year!!!! JBugs used to be good but I haven't ordered from them since they moved from Hawthorne to Oceanside. |

Not quite... I believe RMM spent more than they could afford and were subsequently bought out by The Real Source (aka Mid America Direct), now known as Mid America Motorworks. My guess is they changed the name to try and attract the RMM customers.

I was happy with my recent order from aircooled.net
I like the fact that they will tell you where the parts are from and give you a better option in most cases.
Seems like they refuse to sell crap, which is good :D |

Exactly. There are a lot of products John doesn't sell... he's not in it to get rich. There are a few that only sell the good stuff, unless their is no other option. Thats what we need in this hobby... |

See this topic (Electric Terminal Crimpers) for a reply to your question regarding which type of crimpers to use.

I know of places like West Coast Metric, BFY, California JBugs and Midamerica. I would like to save myself some shipping time and drive to Midamerica (It's 2 Hrs from where I live) What do you guys think?
MID AMERICAN MOTORWORKS. ONE OF THE BEST

| I agree that CB has top quality parts, but everytime I have tried to place an order with them, they tell me they are a week or so behind on shipping so it could take a while. I don't get how u get that far behind on shipping, how long does it take to pick something off the self, and put it in a box? |
