I don't get how u get that far behind on shipping, how long does it take to pick something off the self, and put it in a box?
The real question is, why don't they do something about it? It's been like that everytime I order, which has been few and far between lately...

I can see it when its not your only job, but this is what they do!

everyone is in such a hurry these days... if they order on a saturday night and it's not in their hands by monday morning they are pissed... i'm very happy that mail order isn't the way it was when i started ordering vw parts nearly 20 years ago.... order today, it ships within two-three weeks, then UPS took another two weeks or so to get it to ya.... the good ole days...

I know it late but wanted to chime in. After six years returned to my 71 Super resto, had a baby and all. Got one of the many catalogues from MAM and ordered a carb rebuild kit. It was cheaper by one dollar over Wolfsburgwest. Had my engine restore by Bill Haupt, Hauptstruasse motorworks, and it was mint. Rebuilt the carb myself, noticed that the new part was not as nice as the original I took out; put it in and turned the key. Proceeded to flood the entire engine, heads, heat exchangers and muffler because the cheap ass needle value shutoff pin wouldn't close. Will never buy from then again.
And if price is a concern. When I priced out all the bits to finish the engine WW was was about 3 dollars more overall.

I must be Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

I say go with Bughaus... I have never had an issue with them, their shipping is fast and fairly priced.
