| I want to order all the parts from WW but want to know exactly what I need, and what I should have on hand (ie like thinks that will break and need to be replaced in the process) I have read through several threads and am under the impression that this job is very difficult. Is there a kit where you can buy the whole chrome piece with the rubber installed that you can just pop into place? I have read several procedures but would like any info on the correct way to do this without buggering things up. I live in NY (staten island) anyone know of a place that can do this correctly if it is too much for someone that has never done it before? |

EVERYTHING you could possibly need.
The procedure isn't that hard, but it is time consuming. I used a thread on here as a guide along with every manual I could consult.
**edit. You might want to get a few of these, they aren't always reusable.

Couple of questions.
What special tools do I need for this job?
What is the order of removal and re-install?
Should I order the new chrome one piece for the outer scraper or just the rubber?
What is expected to go wrong?
A lot of this rubber is expensive so I want to do it right the first time. Thanks. |

Its been a while since I did it, but basic tools are all I remember using. 10mm, phillips, and a flat head or two.
EVERYTHING in the door needs to come out. This thread covers the how-to removal of the rubber.
The 'chrome' comes on the rubber.
Nothing should go wrong if you buy quality parts and take your time. |
