Now my bug is hard to start. At first it would start right up but it seems to heisate to stalling then i would press on gas then it would idle normally. Later i would try to start it back up after 2 or 3 tries. I am thinking choke? Also i found a slight vacuum leak at the carb any idea where at the carb?

 Found the problem... I am using 009 dizzy and i set it at 7.5 idle but 009 doesnt care about idle it cares about max advance correct? So i set it at 28 to 30 degree max. Now my bug gets steady idlings. Wait til i get my SVDA then it will be so much better :)

You can try to locate a vacuum leak at the carb by spraying carb cleaner at the base of the carb (common spot for vac leaks) and on either side of the throttle shaft (another common spot). If the idle increases or smooths out you've found the leak. And make sure all unused vacuum ports are plugged off.

What carb do you have?

Ok i am back. It still hard to start when it's hot. After 3 tries it would start. What should i do? Also i noticed that the starter doesnt crank longer than 5 seconds then it would stop like it doesnt have any juice left. Battery is new. I fixed the vacuum leak. I adjusted the choke to where it's suppose to be at.
