Below are some pics of the new interior of my '74 orange Bug. Just a standard, TMI vinyl skin job but it sure does look and feel great. No more horsehair, but 2" of foam rubber with sisel carpeting to tame the springs.
The heat has shrunk 'em down a bit so they're not as saggy as the pics show.

Try a hair dryer or heat gun to get them tighter. Just be CAREFUL.
